Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

[SOLVED] Update 3.6.4 -> 3.7.7

I finally upgraded to 3.7.7, now one problem turns up:

I am using three footer widgets with separate styles for their headers and contet. Until now that worked just great. But after the update, the styles don't work anymore. I am pretty sure that's because Atahualpa seems to add backslahes and quotes to the styles like this

PHP Code:
 \"footer-widget-title\"
The forum swallowed the first backslash which is right in front of the quote.

I am using this code in the footer:
PHP Code:
<?php bfa_widget_area('name=FooterWidgets&cells=3&align=9&width_1=333&width_2=332&width_3=295&before_widget=<div class="footerWidget">&after_widget=</div>&before_title=<div class="footer-widget-title">&after_title=</div>'); ?>
I have no idea why Atahualpa (3.7.7) adds these backslashes. 3.6.4 did not do that. What could be wrong here?

I am using Wordpress 3.3.2

I'm not sure how this worked before. There is no title for a widget area, only for the widget in the widget area. The CSS for styling the widget title would be separate from the code for creating the widget area.

Well at least that's what the Atahualpa interface says on the "Add new WIDGET AREAS" page at the bottom (under "Very optional"). That's what I have been using and what has worked. Of course it might be that I totally misunderstood that and it worked nonetheless (I swear it did).

Either way, I fixed it using only CSS, as that's more elegant. Thanks for pointing it out!

That was my bad. The code you used should work. I just tested in 3.7.7 and all was good. No slashes but if you got it working that is good too.
