I don't know if this is possible, but I have a custom menu item (an external link) in my main nav and I don't want people to leave my site when they click it.

Is there anyway to add a

target="_blank"

to a custom menu item?

Nevermind. I found it.

If anyone has this same problem:
+ Click on "screen options" in the top righthand corner
+ Select "Link Target" from the "Show advanced menu properties"
+ Open your custom menu item in the menu
+ Select "Open link in a new window/tab"
