[SOLVED] Need more verical space in widget list

I am using ATA 3.6.7 with all of the fixes applied. The site is Culverchiro.com which consists of just pages now. I used the pages widget to put a menu in the left side bar, but I would like to insert vertical space between each item in the list. I tried adding line-height to the widgets-style content options in the theme editor and also tried adding
.page-item {line-height: 25 px; } to the Insert CSS option at the end of the theme editor. Neither seems to work.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.
