I'm sure it's in this forum somewhere but I can't find it.

Advice on how to make the white background in the Image section of www.stmatthewsrandolph.org transparent would be appreciated!

Thanks, Nick

what do you mean by the image section? The header image? or the featured images on the posts or something else?

Sorry should have been more specific!

I'd like to make the section with the logo and the blog name and search box be transparent. The part above the top menu, it is currently white. Hope this helps explain what I'm trying to do.

If you want to set a transparency for those sections, you should manually code the header area
1) view the source of the page and grab the header area.
2) put that code in place of what you have in ato->Style & edit HEADER AREA->Configure Header Area
3) add a <div id="xxx">.....</div> around it (where 'xxx' is unique and meaningful)
4) add a CSS Insert with the selector referencing 'xxx' and the opacity rules you need

remember to document what you have done in chase you need to make changes in he future.
