I recently changed our post excerpts so that they don't strip

<p><br><strong>

tags.

I did this so that the excerpts on the front page included basic formatting. Previously, we wrote custom excerpts for each item.

I noticed that when I include a more tag and don't make a custom excerpt, both the thumbnail and the picture from the top of the post are displayed. (They are different sizes of the same picture.) How can I prevent this duplicate picture?

I think that issue was fixed in a later version of Atahualpa. As long as I don't put <img> in the don't strip these tags box I only get one image.

If you decide to upgrade I suggest using the manual method as outlined in "New Versions and Updating".
