Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi

Body, Text & Links -> Body Style: No matter what I put in there, the background image won't be displayed. Not even the default
Code:
background: url(/wp-content/themes/atahualpa3/images/backgr.gif) repeat top left;
works. I double, triple checked the paths and they do work as urls - what could be wrong here?

All the best,
Fux

Tried a few more things but it just won't work. Any more ideas?

Donated anyway, because the theme is great.

Try yourdomain.com/wp-content/themes/atahualpa3/images/backgr.gif to see if the image is actually there. Check if you have a cache running on your blog. Check if your browser is displaying an old cached version of your site.

I was having the same problem. Here's what worked for me: background: url(http://yoururl/blog/wp-content/theme...ages/yourimage) repeat top left;

bear in mind, my wordpress is not in my root folder, but in the folder called blog. hope it helps you.

It was both a subdirectory and a "double background: line in the same CSS rule" issue (the second background overwrote the first)
