What I mean is, since I am new to using sticky posts, whenever I place a sticky post, on the background there is a grayish color with a picture of a photo then it extends all the way down to the end of my site bordering all my posts in that gray color!

Is there any way I can change the color or simply remove it all?

did you look at the page/post options?

Look in the theme options under Post and Page styling, and you can delete the background style for the sticky posts.
