Hi! I've been using Atahualpa which I love, but I just discovered that since doing so, the email updates are no longer going to my subscribers through feedburner. I checked with bluehost, my server, and they said there was a lot of error code in there that probably happened when I switched templates. I'm wondering if I just neglected to do something when changing to Atahualpa? The site in question is at http://carpelibrisreviews.com. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The redirection of the posts feed (when clicking on the icon on the top right) and the subscribe by email form seem to work.

But when clicking the "Subscribe by email" icon on the top right, the Feedburner form that comes does not include your Site Name. Is that the error that you noticed?

The button is linked to

http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/email...Submit?feedId=CarpeLibrisReviews&loc=en-US

but it should be something like

http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/email...Submit?feedId=1234567&loc=en-US

Looks like you put your Feed Name into the form field at "Atahualpa Theme Options" -> "RSS Settings" ->" Feedburner ID for this site"?

There are 2 different IDs. One is CarpeLibrisReviews, that's what you put into the settings of the Feedsmith plugin. The other one is a (probably 7 digit) number. The Email subscription links and forms do require the number. SeeAtahualpa Theme Options -> RSS Settings -> Feedburner ID for this site? on how to get that number.

To confuse things even more it seems that accounts are being moved over to the new owner Google at the moment, and as far as I know Google is going to consolidate the 2 IDs into one (but I am not sure). But right now the 2 different "ID's" should still work.

I'm having the same issue, and I'm having trouble finding a 7-digit feedburner id. Feedburner only lists my feed name (BeyondJustMom) in the url information under both boxes in the email subscribe information.

Here's my site:
http://www.beyondjustmom.com

I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

I just signed up for a second Feedburner account, this time through http://feedburner.google.com/, and there's indeed no 7 digit ID anymore. I'll update the theme to account for both feedburner versions (old account at feedburner.com and new accounts at feedburner.google.com).

If you have a new google/feedburner account you can correct this in your existing Atahualpa version for now like this:

In functions/bfa_header_config.php, line 115, replace

PHP Code:
$logo_area .= 'href="http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/emailverifySubmit?feedId='
with

PHP Code:
$logo_area .= 'href="http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri='
And at Atahualpa Theme Options -> RSS Settings -> Feedburner ID for this site?

put the last part of the "feed address" (See in your Feedburner account -> "Edit Feed Details" -> "Feed Address" -> the part after "http://feeds2.feedburner.com/")

The ID should be something resembling your site name but without spaces but may have a slash (my ID has). See attached image. Note: That ID in the image is for a site of mine, don't use that. For my site wp27.bytesforall.com the ID is bytesforall/lzoG
