Flutter, anyone?

I'm using Wordpress not just as a blogging platform, but as a full CMS (content management system) for a news site. Obviously, WP wasn't really meant to do this, and many plugins have been created to make it more like a full CMS. I just came across Flutter, http://flutter.freshout.us/, which might be helpful. Has anyone used it? I haven't tried it yet, because my partner is working in the site now and she'll freak if I introduce yet another new thing right now.
