Well, I've been over every single ATO menu item and can't see where I made that change, if I made that change. Right about now I am doubting my own sanity.

We need an emoticon that adequately expresses the regular forum user as wringing his/her hands, weeping, and pleading for help.

OSX 10.8.5 WP 3.8.x Atahualpa 3.7.x Safari 6.x Firefox 25 XP
two things are causing the issue in the CSS Inserts
1) the code
HTML Code:
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li a, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li a {
padding: 4px 6px;
color: #fff;
}
is putting a 4px top AND BOTTOM padding and a 6px left and right padding
2) the code
HTML Code:
/* different padding for parents with arrow image in hover mode */
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover {
padding: 8px 24px 0px 10px !important;
background-position: 97% 65% !important;
}
is giving a 8px TOP and 24px right. the combination of the two is causing the issue, so
change
HTML Code:
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li a, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li a {
padding: 4px 6px;
color: #fff;
}
to
HTML Code:
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li a, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li a {
padding: 4px 6px 0 6px;
color: #fff;
}
and change
HTML Code:
/* different padding for parents with arrow image in hover mode */
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover {
padding: 8px 24px 0px 10px !important;
background-position: 97% 65% !important;
}
to
HTML Code:
/* different padding for parents with arrow image in hover mode */
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover {
padding: 4px 22px 0px 10px !important;
background-position: 97% 65% !important;
}
and take a look.

Are you using the WordPress menu system? If so did you add any code to the Navigation Labels? If you send me a PM with a login I can take a look if you like.

Hi guys, I just did the changes JD suggested and still the problem persists. My total CSS insert code is now:

.blogtitle {display:none !important;}

td#header {
padding-bottom: 15px;
}
div.searchbox {
position: absolute;
top: 50px;
right: 25px;
}
div.searchbox input.text {
border: solid .5px #ffe8a3;
padding: 2px 15px 2px 3px;
background: #fff url('<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/search2.gif') no-repeat right center;
-moz-border-radius: 5px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
border-radius: 5px;
height: 15px;
bolder: solid 1px #e7e7e7;
font-size: 11px;
}

a.posts-icon {
position: absolute;
top: 85px;
right: 160px;
font-weight: normal;
color: #70097f;
font-size: 11px;
}
a.comments-icon {
position: absolute;
top: 85px;
right: 20px;
font-weight: normal;
color: #70097f;
font-size: 11px;
}

a.email-icon {
position: absolute;
top: 85px;
right: 10px;
font-weight: normal;
color: #70097f;
font-size: 11px;
}

div#menu1 ul.rMenu {
background: transparent;
border: none;
}

div.widget ul li {
padding: 1px 5px 1px 13px !important;
background: url('<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/bullets/purple-box.gif') no-repeat 0 7px;
}
div.widget ul li a:hover {
text-decoration: underline;
}

/* Menu Bars */

div#menu1 ul.rMenu li a, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li a {
padding: 4px 6px 0 6px;
color: #fff;
}

/* different padding for parents with arrow image in hover mode */
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover, div#menu2 ul.rMenu li.rMenu-expand a:hover {
padding: 4px 22px 0px 10px !important;
background-position: 97% 65% !important;
}

a.comments-icon:link,a.comments-icon:active,a.comments-icon:visited {
background:transparent url(http://www.winekitmaking.com/wp-cont...es/comment.png) no-repeat scroll center left
}

a.posts-icon:link,a.posts-icon:active,a.posts-icon:visited {
background:transparent url(http://www.winekitmaking.com/wp-cont...images/rss.png) no-repeat scroll center left
}

a.email-icon:link,a.email-icon:active,a.email-icon:visited {

}

ul#rmenu {
padding:5px;
}

div#menu2 {
background: #666666;
}
div#menu1 {
background: #f9f7e4;
}

/* XX comments to .... */
h3#comments {
margin: 10px 0;
padding: 10px;
font-weight: normal;
background: #f5f5f5;
}

ul.commentlist {
border-top: 0;
margin: 0;
line-height: 1.4;
font-size: 12px;
}
ul.commentlist li.thread-odd, ul.commentlist li.thread-even {
margin: 5px 0;
padding: 10px;
border-bottom: solid 5px #fafafa;
background: #fff;
}
span.authorname, span.authorname a {
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 17px !important;
}
div.commentmetadata a {
color: #999;
font-size: 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
letter-spacing: 1px;
}

And still it doesn't work.

After looking at your settings I found the main issue was you had nothing in the navigation label for the FAQ tab which was preventing the CSS from working as it didn't see it as a link. I just put # in the field and all started behaving. I then took out the menu styling from CSS Inserts and all is back to normal.

The main thing was the empty navigation label for the FAQ tab. Without that there it was not being affected by the CSS for the menu. I also took out the menu CSS in CSS Inserts.
