There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi everyone,

Do you guys know how to adjust the height of div dynamically (depending of the content of an iframe) ?
I have an iframe in a div , the iframe changes its content dynamically (expanding the height) and so I want the div container for this, to change its height dynamically too , in order to avoid any scrolling.

What will be the easiest way to do this ? (jquery, java script, ...) ?
Anyone know if there is a plugin for this?

Cheers,
Dinu

Yes you're right , here it is
www.rezair.ro/en

I want to get rid of the space under search engine,
and use no scrolling, for instant if you click
on Segmente Multiple you will understand what I mean

I need something that will expand dinamically based on the
Iframe content

You need to reduce the height of your iframe to about 270px. I know of no way to make that dynamic.

Well I've tried 270px, but if I click on the calendars or bellow menus they won't be displayed properly and a scroll will appear.

Worst, even with 400 px height, if I choose "Segmente multiple" it will insert a scroll there , and ruins the look .

I believe there is an attribute you can add to the iframe code to eliminate the scroll bars. Are you using an iframe plugin to add the iframe?

The attribute for the iframe is "scrolling=no" if this what you mean ?
But if I use it, it will truncate the result (the search engine won't be displayed properly).

I'm not using any iframe plugin.

The thing is the content of the iframe is changing in height depeniding of what you choose and the results of the search also.

So that's why I think that I need a dynamic div height and dynamic iframe height in order to expand the content dinamically on the height .

I have done searches in the past to find a solution for dynamic iframe height and they have been less than successful. I just did another and came up with this article. I am not sure if it will work in your situation and have not tested.
