I followed the instructions in Wordpress' Creating a Static Front page section but it created an extra "Home" page and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. The Wordpress instructions mention the possibility of this happening and says that some themes don't respond well to this... it was kind of vague. But can anyone here help?

Got it, thanks. Now is there any way I can change the order in which the the page menu items appear? Other than either alphabetically or in the order created. I would like the Home link to be first...
