I have been trying to style this correctly for hours now, and nothing seems to be working. The site I am developing is: http://easytrim.cohesiondevelopment....out-easy-trim/

I want to get the vertical menu to look like this:

I will make a big roll over image -- but I cant seem to get these pesky menu boxes to be bigger. The li class="page_item" boxes will not take on the hover effect.

Any help would be much obliged!

Be glad to help. Step (1) switch to the Atahualpa theme, since that and Montezuma are thethemes this forum supports.

if that doesn't work for you, I suggest asking the author of the theme you are using.
