[SOLVED] Dynamic Widget Areas

In the instructions for creating a new widget area it says the following:
"...And you'll need to reload WP->Presentation->Widgets 1-2 times before you can see the dynamic widget areas there and start adding widgets."

Where is the presentation area? Is that a typo or have I just never encountered it before in the 4 years i've been using WP?

I'm wondering about this b/c I can't seem to get my new widget area to create.
