Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I updated from 3.4 something to 3.5.3 (also updated to new version of word press). Images inserted into newly created posts no longer auto resize with central column width but stay the size at which they were inserted into the post.

What happens if you set the width to 100%?

OSX 10.11.5 WP 4.x Atahualpa(all) Safari, Firefox, Chrome
switch to twenty-ten and upload an image and see what it does. This will tell if it i theme or WP related

It appears that the problem is wordpress rather than theme related.
2010 isn't a fluid width theme, but when changing to other fluid width themes the problem remains. On the word press forums, the only response I got was that this was normal behavior for wordpress, but this feature was so integral to my site I didn't even realize how important it was till it was gone.

Does anyone have any idea how I could make the images scaleable with center column width up to their max size?

Thanks so much

I think you can just use 100% as the width on images.
