Please take a look at http://www.larchmontgazette.com using MSIE. The top banner, which is done with the Sponsors Slideshow plugin in a new widget area (ATA 3.4.3, WP 2.8.4), jumps down behind the Featured Content Gallery. Also, one of the right sidebar widgets, another instance of Sponsors Slideshow, isn't working right, although the others are. All of this looks OK in Firefox and Safari.

I'm attaching a screenshot.

EDIT: OK, I think I fixed the plumbing ad. In the links, the link to the image did not have www in the URL. I added that, and now it works.

I followed all the code changes in this thread: http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=3547 for the Featured Content Gallery, but in MSIE, the Page Menu Bar is still showing up below the header area, behind the FCG. There must be some kind of conflict with the new widget area or maybe the Jquery in the Sponsors Slideshow plugin?

EDIT: I see in the forum devoted to the cat and page menu bars, someone else is having trouble: http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=3658 So maybe this isn't related to the FCG at all?

I just took a look in IE8 and it looks fine. Did you do something?
