I am using WP 2.9.2, Atahualpa 3.4.9 and Sociable 3.5.2. I installed Sociable and activated it intending to have it in the post footer but did not place %sociable% anywhere in Atahualpa options, yet sociable is showing up at the bottom of the post body section. Any ideas where the code might be that is doing this?
Thanks,
Joe

It looks like that is how the sociable plugin works. It automatically shows up on the posts after it is activated. No code needed.

Ok, but when I put %sociable% in the Footer via "Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS" it also shows up in the footer of the post. The interesting thing, however, is that when I do this and it shows up in the footer it does not respect the settings I've selected within the Sociable Options page. So I'm thinking there must be some code somewhere that is forcing it into the body with the selected options.

I'm not sure... I would have to play around with the plugin. Maybe they have a forum.

It's one of the built in options, see the documentation on the ATO->Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS page

Well there's a setting I've never noticed before. This theme has it all.

I've played with it some more trying to delete the theme and then reinstall it. I learned two things... 1) somehow the theme retains some of the configuration items (but not all) so there must be a configuration file Atahualpa saves outside its own folder, and 2) I have the same problem using the default theme so it does not seem to be a them-related issue.
Still stumped.

Joe, get up to 3.5.1 and on teh import/export option there is a 'delete bfa_ata4' button, use it to start
there was a bug where things did not totally get converted into the new format, but that was fixed in 3.5.0

Juggledad, thanks but that didn't work. I don't think it is related to Atahualpa at all because it happens with any theme I use. I was still hoping that someone here might have an answer for me. I've struggled with this too long and I think my next step will be to get a clean install of WP and start over from scratch.
Thanks for responding.

if it happens with every theme, then it must be a plugin - disable them all and see if it goes away
