Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hello, I am new to this...
I got a plugin called enhanced recent posts so that I could have my recent posts widget in the sidebar only display from certain categories. But, I need the category ID #s to set it up and I CAN'T find the category IDs. They are supposed to show when I roll over the categories, but the end is cut off on my browser screen, so I need to find the category IDs somewhere. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Uggghh, I think it is a problem with Chrome's status bar!
Unless anyone knows another way to see the Category ID?

go to dashboard->Posts->Categories edit a category ad you should see the ID as the last part of the HTTP address

The problem is that the end of the address is not shown in the status bar. The status bar is cut short. But, it seems to be a Chrome issue, because in Firefox I can see it. How annoying!
I was hoping there was another way to find the CatID.

I had that issue from time to time and now I use the Simply Show IDs plugin.
