Hi

I have been trying to find out how to remove the category menu bar altogether from this wordpress theme.

Within Atahualpa 3.5.3 | Header Area | Style and edit HEADER AREA, I have been unable to work out what I need to edit, add or delete.

I have searched this forum and found one posting, which led to the above, but didn't provide the full information.

I did that, thanks.

It's remove the menu bar. However, the 'bar lines' at the left and right hand side remained, even when I removed the 'bar1' and 'bar2' headers.

Those grey bars are a background image. You should see a background in ATO->Body, Text & Links->Body Style as mentioned in Juggledad's reply.
