I included a link in a post to a PDF file stored in the media gallery but get this error when I click the published link.
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /nfs/c02/h12/mnt/17977/domains/asedev.doublechase.com/html/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/functions/bfa_postinfo.php on line 271
Anyone have any ideas on what I may be doing incorrectly?

There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes.
