Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I'm running Atahualpa with 2.8 RC1 now - it works well...

There is a "gotcha" with WP 2.8 RC1 - the widget manager fails and does turn off widgets.
I went back to 7.7.2 a (I'm a tester by nature!)

Things are back to "normal" for now.

I am happy to report that the release of WP 2.8 has corrected the RC1 widget issue.

I've since moved on to WP 2.9 rare and so far have had no issues.

Wow. What's new and/or better in 2.9? I've gone to 2.8 on one site I run, and it's OK. But I had no old plugins running on that site.

WP 2.9 is the "developers" version used to test new features as they come live.

WP 2.8.1 will be out soon to correct some errors found in WP 2.8 release.

I've been testing WP since 2.5 and have enjoyed much of it. With WP 2.8 and the changes it presents in Widget handling with some plug-ins, I reverted back to 2.7.1 quite often.

So far WP 2.9 rare is working nicely and 2.8.1 is on track.

I'm not a coder, just a tester...

I seem to be getting the entire stylesheet displaying inline on all my pages with wordpress 2.8 and atuahalpa 3.3.3 - this is an issue for download time. Anyone else getting this? It's happening on 3 of my sites and I am worried something is broken.

It is supposed to be like that. 3.3.4 will have the option to have both the CSS and the Javascript in external files, and compressed, too.
