There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021
I am as new as it gets to Wordpress, but I'm already finding myself obsessed with it.
Any recommendations on a good book to help me get better and perhaps even introduce me to some basic CSS?
Thanks.

Wordpress 3.4.1, Atahualpa 3.7.7
I've taught myself a lot just reading what's on wordpress.org, and googling various problems and questions along the way.

suggest you get started with my free eBook "WordPress quick start" available on my site.
If anyone has recommendations for other books let me know so I can mention them.

there is a 'Wordpress for Dummies' I haven't looked at so I can't tell you how good it is but it might be a starting place.

I bought WordPress for Dummies. I find it very helpful. I have learned a lot from it. But, I do better having a book in front of me. I'm old school and like having a pencil and yellow wax pencil for taking notes and highlighting.

Wordpress for Dummies is great. Lisa Sabin-Wilson wrote it and did some consulting for us. Highly recommend.
