There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. [SOLVED] Possible to eliminate padding for section of middle column?

I would like to add a black horizontal bar (containing text and links) that spans the entire width of the center column (bleeds off the sides). Is there a way for me to eliminate the padding only for this small section of the page? I want to maintain the padding for the body text above the bar. Thanks!
