Multi-post pages inconsistently using excerpts (eg. search results)

Hi all,

My excerpts are set up to be used everywhere, with home page full length for first two posts. (See attachment).

However, if I do a search, I get mixed behaviour. Some posts are excerpted at 80 words, like I set, but a few others show the entire post.

You can replicate this behaviour by searching for "PVP" from my home page. Like this. Note about half-way down, the "Jewelcrafting" post is really huge!

I have already implemented the 3.51 = == fix that Juggle posted.

I'm using 3.5.1 with wordpress 2.9x, any suggestions on how to fix?
