WP 2.9 coming

I've signed up as a beta tester on a non-public site I'm running. Should be interesting.

Some of the proposed new features should make obsolete many of the plugins I'm using now to make my newspaper site more of a CMS. Yay! And 2.9 should also have the ability to easily add widgets anywhere, not just in sidebars. So Flynn could remove that as a theme option, eventually.
