Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Unhappy [SOLVED] ERROR: Losing all my settings

Help!!
I dont get it and I dont know where to put this thread.

I am changing the settings for a website and all the time my complete settings are gone. Luckily I had an old export still on computer so I could recover most of the settings.

Where it happens if I change something within: "Add HTML / CSS Inserts" I am trying to move my header image by changing the margins of the image container. Somehow when I do that ALL my Atahualpa settings are reset.

The website I am talking about is: www.yogabalansculemborg.nl I am working on it so perhaps you the the standard Atahualpa layout or perhaps you see what I am building. I need to get the header image horizontal left next to the logo.

Please someone help me. What could be the problem and what can I do about it??

With Regards,
Krishna Kurvers

I would probably just use a div with the logo and image in the Style and edit header area box.

Hello Larry,

Thanks for your quick reply. I did not see it earlier, I did not receive notice of reply on post.

Hmmm, So I should use a different solution you say for Logo and Header image.... Okay would be good for me too. But I do not understand how to do this.... Div for logo ?? Image in the Style? In what sections of Atahualpa do I need to organize this. (not that good with all the coding).

Besides the perhaps better solution I also am a bit worried about what happened with losing all my settings. How did that happen? What did I do wrong? I use Atahualpa more often for websites and this is the first time this happened.

Hello JuggleDad,

What I am trying to change is this:

#imagecontainer { margin: −220px 562px 0px -25px !important;
box-shadow: 0.3em 0.3em 0.2em 0.1em #4e4e4e;
}

The export of Atahualpa is the following (attachement).

I hope you can tell me what I am doing wrong.

with regards,
Krishna Kurvers

I imported your settings and then added those changes to CSS Inserts and had no problems

1) I would suggest doing a database backup
2) I would suggest disabling ALL plugins and see if you can make the changes then
3) if you can't I would look at the error log on your host to see if some error is occuring

In addition, if you want the logo on the same line as the header image, I would just put an <img...> pointing to th logo in the ata->Header Image->Overlay Header Image and then position it with some CSS using something like
HTML Code:
div.codeoverlay {position: relative; left: 500px; }
