Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Hi Flynn,

I decided to go ahead and upgrade to Atahualpa 3.2 now, as I had the blog theme looking pretty much the way I wanted and would like to transfer my theme there to my regular blog.

After doing the upgrade (I used the automatic one in my Wordpress admin), I see my post titles are now outside white post area and are sitting on the background color. There is also about an inch of background color now between posts. Can I change it back to having the post titles inside the white posting area and no background color between the posts?

Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Flynn, I was able to get the post title back into the white post area. There is still an inch of background color now between posts, though. Is there a way to have the background area between the posts be white ?

Thank you. :-)

That's the post footer, see Post/Page Styling -> Footer Box

Hi Flynn,

Thank you for your help. I am trying to have the space (including footer) between the posts look like it did in version 2.9. I tried added padding and taking out margins in footer and top of kicker box, but couldn't get rid of the pink in-between the posts. I even tried resetting the settings to start from scratch, and the pink space was still there. I'm sure I am doing something wrong. If something has changed in version 3.2 to make the appearance different, I could copy the changes I made to Notepad, delete version 3.2 and upload version 2.9 again?

Here is a picture to explain better what I mean.

Thanks so much! (donation made)

Ellen

Sorry Ellen, I am a bit late with this one:

Remove the bottom margin from the Post container and add top padding instead:
Post/Page Styling -> Post Container, change

HTML Code:
margin: 0 0 30px 0;
to

HTML Code:
margin: 0;
padding: 30px 0 0 0;
Or, perhaps simpler, add a white background to Center -> Center column style

HTML Code:
background: #ffffff;

Thank you so much, Flynn!! That fixed it, yea!! (Somehow I didn't notice [or forgot] that Center section.)
