First time here and new to blogs, using and setup.

Our blog is www.quantummatrixcenter.com/blog

Most css works ok but if I click on the 'Welcome' permalink all the background css goes white.

Any suggestions greatfully received.

Change the path to the body background image form relative to absolute. In your case

url(/blog/wp-content/themes/atahualpa332/images/bckgrnd1.jpg)

instead of

url(../images/bckgrnd1.jpg)
