What I want to do is have a post category that, when you go to it, it has information similar to a page - the ability to put text, images, etc on it. Then further down the page have links to the posts that belong to that category - or even more preferable, a way to have a link to the categories posts. For example either a button or link on the page that allows you to click on it and read that categories posts. Does anyone know of either a plugin or code that will do this?

I am using WP 2.9.2 and Atahualpa 3.4.4

Maybe the List Category Posts plugin will work for you.
