There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I'm using wordpress custom menus and would like to not have parent page with children linked

website localmccall.com

wordpress 3.0.4
theme 3.6.1

I've tried setting the options to yes and No and there seems to be no difference. I've turned off caching plugins.

I've looked for any update's 3.6.1 but have not seen any that address this issue.

any help would be appreciated.

If you are using the custom menu, then it is up to you to customize your menu in all ways. So that means if you want a page to be a sub page of another, you have to drag it under and to the right of the parent page. Sub pages are NOT automatically included. As a matter of fact, you can make a parent page the sub page of one of it's children.

I understand how to set up the custom menus. what I would like to do is have a blank page as the parent that is not clickable (no link) href="#".

I thought this was an option within the theme. I have tried putting yes and no in at menu1

Don't link first level parent items in Page Menu Bar?

with no apparent effect.

you can create a dummy menu item in the custom menus and set the href that way, then add your child pages under it.
