Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Reasons for upgrading?

Hi,

I have a friend who recently upgraded his Wordpress in order to take advantage of the security fixes. He has asked me if there are any security risks through the Atahualpa theme if he retains the version he is currently using (2 years old). Apparently it is working fine and would rather not upgrade unless it is 'necessary'.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!
Sharon

I don't THINK there are any security issues but if you haven't used any php code in the various fields of the theme why not do a manual upgrade? If things don't work you can just swap back.
