I have created a dynamic widget in my footer area. I only want it to show on my gallery page.

I found this post from years ago which is closed

So I tried this and widget doesn't show up at all:
<?php if( is_gallery_page() )bfa_widget_area('name=My dynamic widget area'); ?>

This is the original dynamic widget code which I have left on the site for you to see, and it shows up on every page. As you will see there is a vertical widget which I want on all pages, except the gallery page:
<?php bfa_widget_area('name=My dynamic widget area'); ?>

Can someone please help me? I've been at this for days and my client's busy season is coming up with big Easter shows when they will need this site to be finished.

I've written a few the last few days and I recall one about firebug which I have installed even though a pop up said there is no firebug support or something anymore.

The responsive mobile thing is all good now, but I must have missed the part about how to show a widget only on 1 page.

I'll go look.

I'll assume from your post (and the time) on the other post that this is resolved.
