There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

well you can add teh text widget and put in text and use the HTML <img> to point to your image
or you could use the nextgen gallery plugin and the slideshow widget
or use a php widget and code in a php statement to generate the html to display the image
or about a dozen other ways.
do a google search on 'wordpress widget image' and see what you find, then try some and see which you like

Could you give me an example of the whole string to use to point to an image on a folder?
I'm not really expert in php or similar things...
