Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I am using WP 3.0 and AT 3.5.1
Blog at www.lovemusings.com

When I use the firebug plugin, I can SEE how to change the format on my Digg Digg buttons, but I can not find where that is in the WP theme dashboard... ??

How do I edit it the buttons (besides using the plugin). The plugin does not allow adjusting things like padding, etc. I need to get into the code. In the Thesis theme, there are essentially three places to edit code.

Where is it in Athulapa???

plugin code is part of the plugin, not the theme. Most Atahualpa options can be set in the theme options and then the CSS is generated from it. If there is an option without a setting you can add CSS using the CSS Inserts option and then it is a theme option and not part of the theme code. This way you don't have to change the code each time there is an upgrade.

Thanks! So, if I can see it "coded" on firebug, it is just the plugin code "behind the scenes" that I do not have access to? I am confused because it seems like there should be code somewhere that I can manipulate. It is not in the plugin (at least that option) settings. I already looked. I also looked at the plugin site.

Atahualpa is 'ignorant' about what goes into any plugin/widget except the couple widgets that come with it (the ones that start with bfa).

That said, you can add in CSS selectors and rules in the CSS inserts that will effect widgets you get from other sources and they will then become part of the atahualpa options store in the db
