Thank you so much, I had the same problem and now it is solved.
I just launched my Wordpress blog yesterday
alittlesewing.com
First I moved from blogger to Wordpress about a month ago, using a theme that met my needs but was a little boring, and a little outdated. I am very happy with Montezuma so far, but I need to go through a lot of old posts to assign featured images and that is going to take a while.

Thank you @jerryc!!! I commented out the php with the h1, h3 and got the logo linked up to the homepage.
The > in the menu are standard with the theme I suppose cuz I haven't made any changes to it. You might make sure you have the most current version of Montezuma?

The two-tone scheme of Montezuma seems to work REALLY well with sub-domains - e.g. http://www.captioned.s-t-u-f-f.net http://www.other.s-t-u-f-f.net http://www.play.s-t-u-f-f.net Still 'playing' so will eventually make sure buttons / links etc. match on all of the sites ... thought I'd mention that before someone points it out!
Also a little TIP | TRICK that occurred to me ... if you split the "postformat" template into two and create a second column set to generate a widget area, you can then use a single widget in that space. If you use a 'random' widget (I'm using the "Random Text" plugin, which is REALLY flexible in what you can actually insert randomly) each iteration is different ... so you avoid the challenge of a lot of white space in the sidebar if you're showing a lot of posts or conversely a really long sidebar with only one or two posts - e.g. when someone uses 'search'. The "play.s-t-u-f-f" link will show you an example, if you don't 'get' it from my explanation.

Hey all, didn't want to post our site since it's still kinda messy, but then I see what y'all are posting and I figured here you go:
http://www.thecatsquad.com
This is my wife's cat rescue group and though I'm the geek, she's more concerned with colors and such, than getting things perfect on the code side. Lots of stuff still to fix, like the NextGen plugin that's creating a separate page under "Photos" and the background image in the top right that will appear behind the headline if you make the window too small.
But I like the theme and the basic responsive platform. I spent a lot of time with Bootstrap and this has nice synergy with that.

What a great responsive theme!
This is Montezuma used for my blog
http://www.3gz.com/
It did some small tweaking in the colours, fontsize, column width etc.
I have no use for categories nor bread crumbs (so I disabled them).

Neut - Looks nice! I like what you did to the colors. Did you just take the sprite, use magic wand in Photoshop and recolor it or something else??

marko: you should apply PATCH 113-01 to fix the thumbnail overlay - see the stickys in this forum.

very nice looking. I'd suggest resizing you images, the header images on the 'BORSE IN PLASTICA' page is 463K, you need to get in under 100k to speed up the page load

That is brilliant - I have a new site which is just begging for a similar format - three columns and the ability to use one for a category menu. (By the way, there is a typo in one title Anti-inflammotary should be anti-inflammatory)
Could you share a brief outline how you achieve that? The prototype of the site I am working on is http://planning.alrewasvillage.co.uk and I'm struggling to figure out how to get the left-hand column in.
Regards
Will

qbuster - to add a left sidebar look at the virtual template 'index.php' and you will see a div surrounding the dynamic sidebar code. duplicate that and change the name (call it 'left sidebar'), put it before the 'content div and adjust the 'coln' class in each div so they add up to 12
