Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Background image overlap

I'd like my site's logo (the big red tag) to sit at the top of the page but overlap the top of the content area like this:

Click image for larger version

Name:	Concept.jpg
Views:	1009
Size:	236.2 KB
ID:	2295

Is this possible? If so, where do I place the image (I'm using CSS to do so)? If not, is there a workaround?

My URL: http://www.kimspersonalizing.com/

Many thanks!

Instead of having it as a background to the wrapper I would use it as logo image and then position with CSS.

Tried that, but the tag image is still falling beneath the white content area. The tag image is currently in the body div, but I realize it should probably be elsewhere. Just not sure where. To be clear, I want the tag image to overlap the white content area. Frustrated and very appreciative of any help!

make it your logo image and let us know when you have done that and we can take a look again.

Now just add a negative bottom margin using something like the following in the CSS Inserts section of the theme options.
HTML Code:
.logo {
    margin-bottom: -20px;
}

try this: in the 'Configure Header Area' option add the following
HTML Code:
<div id="mytag"><img class="tag" src="http://www.kimspersonalizing.com/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/tag.png" /></div>
then add the following to the CSS inserts
HTML Code:
#mytag {height:150px;}
.tag {position: relative;}
you may want to position it left or right too.
