[SOLVED] Post excerpts include thumbnail and post picture

Hi,
I recently changed our post excerpts so that they don't strip tags.

I did this so that the excerpts on the front page included basic formatting. Previously, we wrote custom excerpts for each item.

I noticed that when I include a more tag and don't make a custom excerpt, both the thumbnail and the picture from the top of the post are displayed. (They are different sizes of the same picture.) How can I prevent this duplicate picture?
