Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Ok, I have tried to do this but failed miserably, it seems to embed my new widget in the existing FOOTER widget which I do not want. I want it after the FOOTER widget, can anyone provide the code to do this ?

Thanks.

There is no footer widget so I assume you are talking about the footer setting in the theme options. If you want to put a widget at the very bottom of the page you could put the new widget code in ATO>Add HTML/CSS Inserts>HTML Inserts: Body Bottom.

Hi there,

I created a three columns widget on the footer using this code

Code:
<?php bfa_widget_area('name=Footer Widget&cells=3&align=8&align_2=8&align_3=8&before_widget=<div id="%1$s" class="footer-widget %2$s">&after_widget=</div>'); ?>
It works well, but I would like to change the name of the widgets from "Footer Widget 1, 2 and 3" to Footer Widget Left, Center and Right". What would be the code for this?

Cheers,
Alex

Add three separate widget areas

Is instead of one three celled widget area use three one celled widget areas

Thanks for your quick response. Last question; how can I avoid the widget areas spanning along the whole footer width?
