If you look at www.thebakingyogi.com and click on contact, you can see the page looking normal. If you search on contact, the contact page search results includes the following fields:

1) by: author and date
2) page title
3) read more
4) comments are closed
AND the images are missing.

I need to fix this. Comments are closed text is set to blank in my Style & Configure Comments. Also, my anti-span plugin Akismet is de-activated.

After reading through the forum, I may want to get another anti-spam plug in because Akismet required me to login, but I am not sure which one to get. I need to have something to keep the spam off my site.

I need to also fix this problem with search results. Please help. Thanks, Paula

check the 'Configure EXCERPTS' options

my configure excerpts options are all set to excerpts, but these pages have nothing to do with excerpts or full posts. These pages are static pages - not blog pages.

Pages are just special types of posts and search searches them both.

Okay. Thanks for the article reference. I guess what you are saying is that the results from a search in Wordpress/atahualpa will result in a search results page that includes the post info items from the blog posts. The only thing that I could have changed in the configure excerpts option would have been to take out the "read more" and use full posts and I don't want to make that type of change to the search results for my blog posts, so that is not an option for me.

Maybe I need a search plugin. Do you know of one that works well with Wordpress/Atahualpa in your experience? This article has some suggestions for me, but you might have an opinion.
