I am reposting this question because the original 3-year-old thread is closed and the advice there, is no longer usable because, as the notices on taht screen say, "Since 3.6.5 PHP code cannot be used anymore in HTML/CSS Inserts."

May I ask for an update on doing this?

If so, that is the left border and set in the widget styling.

in style widgets I see how to change the color but I want to totally remove that object so the text is flush left to the line.

If there is a configuration there to do that. I am not seeing it and would appreciate advice on whatever i am missing.
