There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021
first disable ALL plugins and see if that has any effect
if not, export your Montezuma settings and attach them to a reply

Hello
I have the same problem and, as suggested, I disabled the plugins. It appeared to have been caused by Disqus. I'm trying to figure out why is it happening.

I ran into the exact same issue with Disqus/WordPress using the Montezuma theme, and I was able to resolve it by going into the disqus.php (wp-content/plugins/disqus-comment-system) and searching for "#disqus_thread", and then commenting out the two lines that pertain to #disqus_thread:
This will prevent the attribute on that <a> tag from being set with #disqus_thread which will then prevent the Disqus JavaScript from replacing the value inside that anchor tag.
