There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021
The sub menus aren't in the source code so this is not a CSS but rather a PHP problem. Perhaps you edited any theme files, such as functions/bfa_hor_pages.php and caused this through the edits?

I'm not aware of editing anything. I'm not a php programmer, so I wouldn't know what to edit anyway.

If I think back on the course of events that lead to the drop-down functionality disappearing, it ocurred around the time I installed eShop.
*STOP PRESS*
Just deleted the eShop plugin and I have my drop-downs working properly again.
