Hello,

I am new to wordpress and trying to insert images using the Upload New Media Tool and am getting the following error message when I try to upload images off of my computer.

"The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\Hosting\5003315\html/wp-content/uploads/2009/09."

I am able to add images using the URL of the image; however, most of my files are on the computer and not online.



Any Suggesstions?

the folder probably doesn't have the correct premissions

Log into your site via FTP and set the permissions to 755
