Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Menu 1 Settings not Displaying on Top Level Menu Item using WP3 Menus

I just tried switching my Page Menu over to the new WP3 menu system.

However, when I do this, the parent level menu does not use the settings from the Atahualpa Menu 1 (Page Menu) options when there are child menus.

When it is just a parent level menu without a child then it uses the settings and the child level menus also use the settings. It even uses the Atuahalpa setting for the parent menu when you hover over it.

The example can be found here http://www.chesstournamentservices.com/events/

I am using WP304 and Atuahalpa 353 with both menu bug fixes.

Thanks,

Chris

Ok, managed to solve this myself.

Since the parent was a custom link and I didn't want it to go anywhere I just left the URL blank. However, then it wasn't treating it as a link and so the CSS wasn't reading it correctly.

Once I put the "#" in the URL then everything went back to normal.

Regards,

Chris

In ATO>Add HTML/CSS Inserts>CSS Inserts you have the following which is preventing the settings from the Atahualpa Menu 1 from affecting the sub menus. If you take out the code mentioned all should be good.
HTML Code:
/* add formatting to submenu items */
div#menu1 ul.rMenu li ul.rMenu-ver li a {
font-size: 9px;
}
