Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Problem with editing hover over image/content area

Firstly I have to say what a great theme this is, lovely display and user friendly.

I'm having 2 problems with at the moment though. I know it's probably something stupid Im missing but on my post page I have a featured image, some text and a link to read more. When I hover over any of these elements the image has some sort of white shadow effect that comes over it. It happens when I mouse in and then waits until I mouse out if that makes sense.

I have gone through all the CSS code from various, content, layout, posts but I cant seem to determine where this is happening.

The other issue I seem to be having is that while it displays perfect in Firefox and Chrome, typically IE decides to throw a spanner in the works! My header and footer align centre correctly but my menu and content align to the left and no matter what code I put in it wont seem to align. It also drops my sidebar below the main text content again no matter what changes I make to the size of either the content area or the sidebar area it just wont sit right.

The site is at http://wmtestarea.co.nf/ but the posts page is http://wmtestarea.co.nf/events/

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Michael

have you applied the patches (see the sticky posts) at the begining of this forum?

UPDATE: Thank you that worked a treat! it's now working fine. Any idea though what might be causing the sidebar to jump down in IE?
