There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

Windows Live Writer Tagging work-around?

As a heavy handed tagger, I recently ran into major performance problems with Live Writer having to store "too many" tags. It would take 8 plus minutes to upload posts, and that just wasn't happening.

I ended up deleting all but the most bare minimum of tags, and LW performance has significantly improved.

I'm curious if anyone out there also uses Live Writer, and/or knows of some kind of fetch-custom-fields workaround that can be worked into a post and (invisibly?) embeds tags that bypass Live Writer?

This maybe a very simple thing that I just can't formulate, but I'm a Photoshop geek, not a coder.

Thanks,
Monkey Fist
