Hi,

I have added a new user with Author rights but I can't figure out how to enable the Author drop-down list to appear when writing a new post so that I can choose an author name to go by, when publishing this particular post. The field should be called Author and just give me a list of names to chose from.

I have it on another theme I am using, but I guess it was pre-configured to show the drop-down list if there are more than one author as I don't remember doing anything special other than creating new users with author rights.

this is a WP option, go to the screen settings and make sure 'Author' is checked off.
