Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA
There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

I didn't see a previous thread on this, but if I missed it, I apologize and please point me in the right direction.

My header image looks fine on PCs in every browser I've tried. However, it cuts off on both sides when I view it in Safari (on an iPhone or iPad - haven't tried it on a Mac but I'm guessing the same thing will happen). The three columns with text adjust fine; it's just the header that cuts off. Any ideas? I appreciate any help.

The header image is going to be cut off at some point when the browser window is resized. This will happen on any browser depending on what the screen size is or how big someone has made their window.

To show you what I mean, on a PC, view your site, then resize the window and make it smaller.

You can limit this by making your website a fixed width instead of a variable width site - and there are pros and cons for each choice. You need to decide what browser size most of your viewers are going to be using

I'm on a mac and I can see the entire image and more, but I've got a 23 inch screen set at a width of 2048px wide...

Ah, I see. That makes sense. I'm going to have to do a little research, I think. Thanks so much!
