There will be no more development for Atahualpa (or any other theme), and no support. Also no new registrations. I turned off the donation system. I may turn the forum to read only if it gets abused for spam. Unfortunately I have no time for the forum or the themes. Thanks a lot to the people who helped in all these years, especially Larry and of course: Paul. Take care and stay healthy -- Flynn, Atahualpa developer, Sep 2021

i want to put google ads in the themes header next to the logo like the ones in the vbulletin forums at http://speedywap.com/
Can someone suggest if I can do this by adding a widget in the header and then adding the adsense code there.

I suppose you already tried to add a widget-area to the header.
What exactly did you do, and where did you encounter problems?

yes, I did try adding a widget, but the problem with the widget was that it never loaded up right and it messed up thee placement of the elements in the header. I want it to be between the logo and the items on the right hand of the header(search box, etc) If possible please suggest the possible solution along with the tags where I can place the ads code.

You can put HTML and PHP and the Google code right into Style & edit HEADER AREA -> Configure Header Area, and mix & match with the existing Atahualpa tags like %pages
