[SOLVED] Color picker issues RE: How can I change the accent color!?!?

Specifically, I am interested in changing the blue accent color in Montezuma to something more personal. Let me start by confessing that I have very little knowledge of CSS.

It appears that the function of Color Picker is to allow users like myself an easy way to customize the colors of the theme. However, when I attempt to change a color (specifically #00903d) under "Colors currently used," it reverts back to the original upon saving.

Despite my unfamiliarity with CSS I still managed to find and change all code associated with the accent color to the color of my choosing. It immediately reverted back, so I started to read up a little more on CSS.... but I can't even locate the code that initiates this 'first part' dual title color cascade.

I am completely and utterly confused and about to throw in the towel.
Can anyone assist me? I would really appreciate the help.

Many thanks!
